The city of Zermatt nestled in the valley. This shot was taken going up the Matterhorn lifts. There are three large ski areas in Zermatt: Rothorn, Gornergrat, and the Matterhorn Glacier. It is really big. To get to the glacier it takes 2 gondolas, and 2 chair lifts. To do the full run back to the bottom takes 30 minutes, and that is skiing fast with legs-a-burnin'!
