I'm thinking we should invite these guys to go fishing. They could share their technique for giant catfish, and we could get some "hands on" experience with this new olympic sport. The Thai's have been practicing with this 646 pounder and will be strong medal contendors for sure.

On other fronts, I am reading the curious incident of the dog in the night-time and came across The Monty Hall Problem which goes:


Suppose you're on a game show, and you're given the choice of three doors. Behind one door is a car, behind the others, goats. You pick a door, say number 1, and the host, who knows what's behind the doors, opens another door, say number 3, which has a goat. He says to you, "Do you want to pick door number 2?" Is it to your advantage to switch your choice of doors?

Intuitively, at the point where there are two doors left, your odds should be 50-50 on getting it right so it should not matter if you switch, when in fact, you have a 2/3's better chance of winning if you switch!

Figure that one out!
