The cheese season has officially started. Big pot of melted Greyure and Vacherin fribourgeois to kick off the first fondue of the year. The mountains are heavy with clouds and the air carries a chill that lets your bones know autumn is around the corner.

We got the report today from Momma Bear that our Houston based relatives have all survived Hurricane Ike, but are now looking for when the electricity will come back on.
