BobbieB's new puppy..."Reese". He is very cute and full of puppy energy. He already knows sit and stay. The size of his paws tell me he is going to be a bruiser when he grows up. ChuckieR and myself ran up to Bob's cabin in North Georgia for an "evening yip", as Bob calls it, which consists of fine food, brown liquor, and pre-fishing jitters while oogling each other's flies and telling fishing stories, followed by a day of fishing on the Toccoa. In the morning we flogged the local section of the river without any luck, and it was pretty cold, with the water under 40F, so we ended up with some pretty cold toes. In the afternoon we went to a section that is "private" that Bob guides on exclusively, and as you can see with the shots below, had some good success.
We were back in Atlanta later that evening, getting cleaned-up and ready to get the nose back to the grindstone. It was a great 24 hour escape. Short but sweet!
