We spent Christmas in Vegas with Jeanne’s family (all the girls above). All her brothers and sisters were there, as well as her sister Jackie’s friend, Ray. It was a new resort hotel on a small lake called Lake Las Vegas. Everyone enjoyed the spa facilities with massages, facials, workouts, mountain biking, and even a Pilates class. There was of course plenty of dining to replace all those calories that were spent in the fitness center. There was a casino there as well, but we gave at a miss, mostly due to jet lag. Every evening the Swiss contingency was out by 9pm!

Jeanne hired a professional photographer to shoot some pictures of the whole family on Christmas eve. Afterwards, we went for Christmas mass, followed by a big dinner at the hotel. It was good to see everyone again, and to give a chance for Dominick and Benjamin to see all their aunts and uncles, as well as their little niece, Elaina.
