It seems that this is now a "weekend only" blog, as I find it Saturday morning, with another week gone since the last update. The picture above has nothing to do with the weekend, other than I like it a lot. It was on the TMB trail with Dominick this summer as we descended into Courmayeur. The sheperd's refuge has stone slabs for the roof.

Jeanne went to the US yesterday for a week of shopping and various music events. It's just the boys here, so we're planning a "seats-up" weekend, which means we get to do whatever we want and don't have to worry about putting the seat down when we're finished, so to speak!

The big news of the week was our little Shuttle mammy-jammer PC (AMD 3400+) blew-up when it's CPU cooling fan died. It is currently in a coma awaiting a replacement fan. We've fallen back to a dual 600Mhz IBM workstation that we pulled out of the graveyard. I hope to get the replacement fan today in the mail from a shop in Zurich.
