IGFA World Record Spotted Bass on the fly in 20 lbs tippet class. Caught with guide Henry Cowen, a legendary figure in fly-fishing circles. I first watched his video "Catching Stripers on the Fly" in 1999. At 4 1/4 lbs, this bass would take the top spot in the 20 lb tippet class, but I did not want to take the chance of killing it to get it registered for IGFA, so we let it go!
