Dominick and Jeanne in the new kitchen frosting cakes for a dual birthday celebration. Benajmin turned 14 and Jim 47 (ouch!) in the last couple of weeks, and now with everyone home, a small celebration was in order. Grilled burgers and a nice Bordeaux, followed by German Chocolate cake made for a traditional feast.

On other news front, next month CERN, the European Center for Nuclear Research that is based in Geneva, is schedule to start up the new Large Hadron Collider. This is under the ground running around the Geneva area with a 17 mile circumference. There is a theory that when they fire it up, that it may create "small black holes", into which the Earth will be sucked up and disappear. In case this does happen, we will be the first to go down the hole, living right on top of the damn thing, so let me say my goodbyes now.
