Out for a bike ride in the Sauternes region of Bordeaux, where the specialty is a sweet, white dessert wine. This is near Chateau d'Yquem, which is the creme-de-la-creme when it comes to Sauternes. A bit pricey though, starting at $600 a bottle and going over $1000 for the really great years. So we didn't get to try any of that, but we did ride by the grape fields.
